Relephant's Post-Promos Activity !

Wooooot! Posting after sucha long haul cos the much dreaded Promotional Exams, Chinese 'A' Levels and the Project Work Oral Presentation. :'(

I think after going through all of those grueling and energy-draining shit, my life has shortened by like a few years lor. Some days when things get really busy, I feel as if I am just 'floating' by, acting and behaving sub-consciously.

Like now, after my Oral Presentation! Got it over today, FINALLY. Hopefully it will turn out okay *Cross Fingers*

Anyway have been out with Eleanore and Rui Wen after the promos. :D

Feel quite bad for post-poning or even not going out with them to IKEA, get gifts etc, etc and etc. Cos sometimes out of the busy schedule and sometimes I just need to rest at home. :(

It's so not like back then in the lovely secondary school days when I can just EASILY go out with my friends as and when we like luh. JC life is damn busy be it a long day or short day, interesting lectures or boring ones.


Next.

We went to Hot Tomato Cafe at Somerset313 the other day and it was pretty awesome. It's more like an overall feel, besides the food. Cos the cafe itself has this Tomato-ish designs and furnishings that make you feel more comfortable.

Ruiwen and Eleanore. Their birthdays are like really close to one another's and it feels so weird planning for their birthdays - concurrently. Hahhas! Hopefully both of you like your gifts! :D

I love this sort of chairs. Absolutely. You can lean your body on it and it gives you lotsa privacy.

Their furniture really match the brand.

The food arrived  shortly afterwards. Its not cos their service was excellent or anything but it's becos we reached there at 11am. Talk about "kiasu-ism"!

Tomato Soup. Which I don't really like. I prefer authentic Chinese soup. * Woots can't wait to get to China on the 28th Dec! *

Failed attempt at capturing the 'pouring of the soup'. It wasn't the smooth type of tomato soup which people dislike.

The garlic bread are crisp and savoury.

My Dory Fillet!

And the the yellow drink - lime juice - was mine! But right, the drink came with a piece of lemon. Is it me or do lime juices normally come with lemons?

Eleanore's dory fillet. Dory fishes are yummy max. The smooth and pristine white meat, notwithstanding its boneless-ness, is so easy to eat.

My favourite craving is Pasta Mania's Dory Zuppa with lotsa cheese. I have been ordering it every time I visit pasta mania and seriously, I have not gotten tired of it yet.

I look tired, exhausted, frail, cos of the hectic work schedule. And maybe some dust mites. -_-

Okay, another failed attempt at dripping the lemon juice. :(

Taken this picture for research purpose.

And I found out why people usually put rice with salt. It is just to keep the salt fresh by sacrificing the rice to absorb the moisture on its behalf. Sounds very Chemistry to me. Haven't touched it for almost a year. :x

After eating, we saw Cold Storage nearby and went in to, idk stroll?

It looked exquisite and as usual, empty. I guess people don't shop at cold storage in the afternoon.

So we had the WHOLE SHOP to ourselves.

Yes, it was during the Halloween period and we were so crazy enough to play with their masks. It was CRAZYYY.

WTH. Have you seen any 'ghosts' with a sprained neck! It was really funny. hahahahah!

Trying out the other masks that looked horribly real. *on the side note, the movie 11-11-11 sucked so badly cos their 'devils' wore such masks and had cloth wings that looked so fake!*

Next ruiwen and ellie wanted to go explore F21 and topshop. So I was dragged along.
